Our Mission

The Worship Ministry supports the church's Vision Statement
"WBC exists to glorify God by teaching the Bible and discipling people of all ages to fulfill their purpose in Christ."

Worship With Us

WBC gathers for worship for two identical services at 9:00 and 10:45 AM. We first worship in song, prayer, and scripture readings prior to a sermon. We encourage you to join in with us for praise and worship!

Objectives

  1. To provide excellent leadership through the Worship Arts that will enable people to worship God, understand spiritual truth, and respond with increased obedience to His leading.
  2. To develop a lifestyle of worship, and to do so in deep community with people we love.

Director of Worship Position

Waxahachie Bible Church is prayerfully searching for a Director of Worship. In this role, you will lead our multi-generational and diverse congregation in worship by thoughtfully selecting contemporary songs, modern worship music, hymns, and gospel pieces. Your leadership will orchestrate an atmosphere that invites the Holy Spirit and prepares the hearts and minds of our congregants to receive the weekly message from our Senior Pastor.

The Director of Worship must be comfortable communicating expectations and feedback in a way that reflects humility, patience, respect, and unity in the Spirit. As an ever-growing congregation, WBC continues to welcome new families in various stages of life into our growing and changing community. WBC also maintains a broad community outreach, and the Director of Worship should be able to work peacefully within the established culture of the church while shepherding and developing the existing members of the WBC Worship Team.

Waxahachie Bible Church is an established church of 600+ and has been a pillar of the Ellis County community for more than 40 years. WBC exists to glorify God by teaching the Bible and discipling people of all ages to fulfill their purpose in Christ.
